22nd MNM
Hi! It's Editor.S with the 22nd MNM. I'll give you a brief summary of this week's session. It's great to see that teams are forming within the METES community. I'm excited about the YouTube content from our male members and it's wonderful to see collaboration within existing teams. I hope more teams will emerge, allowing everyone to gain more experience.

Session on Monday, June 12th: PSC session with Daniel, Global Company builder, Shin Dong-won
During the morning check-in, we discussed AGI, which stands for Artificial General Intelligence. It refers to AI that is comparable to human intelligence. It feels like the scenes we imagined in sci-fi movies are gradually becoming a reality. We explored the differences between Narrow AI and AGI and anticipated how AI can make our future work more efficient and effective. However, it's important to use this technology wisely and not be driven by it. As we increasingly avoid responsibility and decision-making because of improving technologies, we should be mindful not to become slaves to technology. You may have heard the saying that ideas are cheap, but the execution is costly. Ultimately, successful entrepreneurship is determined by execution. Let's utilize our METES community to test if our ideas are truly fundable, just like in lean startups. Even the most challenging tasks can be tackled when broken down into smaller parts. If you need feedback on ongoing projects, businesses, content plans, or any issues related to your purpose, feel free to reach out to the METES community!
In the afternoon, Meister Shin Dong-won joined us to share his story on "Redemption, Grace, and Jonah's Career." He emphasized that business is a form of mission, glorifying God. Despite experiencing various failures and difficult times in his life, he managed to overcome them through 24 years of a journey characterized by failure, achievement, and vision. During a time when he was seriously ill in a hospital, he received grace and vision from God, experiencing moments of encountering God. Ultimately, he highlighted the importance of daily communication with God through prayer and His word, to bring glory to God through our lives. Let's reflect on what matters most in life and how we interpret and accept the meaning of death.

Session on Wednesday, June 14th: The Soul of Leadership with Erik & Heejin, Sotheby's Institute Kim Yul-hee
Wednesday always brings us SOL (Soul of Leadership) time. With the theme "Preserving to the end," the opening question was, "Have you ever completely surrendered to something?" In our lives, there are moments of spiritual transformation, which can be viewed from the perspectives of the purgative way, the illuminative way, and the unity way. The purgative way begins when the seeker awakens to an awareness of spiritual reality. The illuminative way occurs when leaders experience the "dark night" and transition into the illuminative way. The unitive way unfolds over time as the night of the soul yields to the unitive way. Ultimately, these three paths are all necessary.
In the afternoon, Meister Kim Yul-hee shared her career journey with the theme "Seeing is believing." Starting as an art major who loved art, she became a planner and is now an educator. She shared how, even when she started her career in education without a place or people, she continuously conveyed the message of "fishing for people," emphasizing the importance of listening to God's words in the journey of life. It was a time to realize how valuable it is to meet people with the mindset of giving our best and building good relationships, as these connections can lead to precious experiences. Let's not forget this, and let's be grateful for the relationships we have with METES makers, meisters, and moderators, as we never know how we may meet again in the future.
