In the 'Life & Its Challenges' session titled 'Life is a marathon', we had a moment to feel once again that our life is a marathon, not a horse race. It was a revelation that everyone can be a winner just by finishing the journey, which is not a competition to beat others, but a fight with oneself and perhaps even a festival. It was a richer time of sharing, especially with the attendance of Pard, an IT club from Handong Global University in Pohang. We had fun answering various questions, like whether we wanted to join a difficult or easy game, and filling in mandalas! Let's make our lives more colorful through this session! |

We had the pleasure of having John Sung, who runs an educational consulting company. We did an activity on the topic 'Understanding myself as a stakeholder', based on my actions. Realizing that my actions and decisions can influence others, as people judge me by my actions, was enlightening. Discussing what type of experience others might have of me and understanding my own leadership style was both fun and enlightening. Each type has strengths, so let's have fun talking more with people around us based on IDI and get to know ourselves better! |

From SunJong Ryu, who helps many small businesses with branding and scaling up, we had a session on the topic of 'From business to trade, Brand Scale-up Company'. Some memorable quotes he shared include 'Leaders need followership, not leadership. Followers need leadership, not followership.' He also mentioned that the most important resource and core value for startups and ventures is 'speed', and that as a business person, it's essential to never lose affection and interest in people. 'We exert great strength for those who believe in us.' Let's give our best every moment with the belief that we are moving forward in uncertainty! Especially in manufacturing, he felt that due to demographic changes and polarization, it's important to produce high-quality or very cheap products and to remember that story, capital power, constant interaction with people, and data are necessary. Let's put our products, services, or anything out into the market! |

In the Metaverse session, we continued our project from last week in Spatial, creating a Visualized Blessings Gallery. We gained experience with prompting in Midjourney and were happy to see how easy it is to create great results and how versatile Midjourney is.
We had a good time encouraging and supporting Polly, a maker who is addressing the important issue of HR services for middle-aged people, by creating and displaying affirmative images together. We wish Polly all the best in her journey to create a better society!
Seeing the Metaverse space a bit more filled than last week reminded us of the positive energy that can be shared when one person's warmth meets technology. We hope that the digital experiences we create together at METES will support each other's growth and development, and we look forward to sharing more stories and creations in the future!" |
