l 11.21(Tue) Jihun Lee (Director at Modern Lion): Challenge Mass Adoption of Web3
We had the pleasure of dreaming about the future with Jihun Lee, who made the first case of selling all tickets as NFTs at a domestic cultural event. We discussed the importance of technology-based accessibility, mainstreaming, problem analysis, and logical thinking, as well as leadership and dedication. With a career based on UX, he has been contemplating how to provide a comfortable and familiar experience to users, which he successfully integrated with NFT technology during the DaVinci Motel Festival with Hyundai Card. His emphasis on 'growth' in life and the attitude of 'serving' as a leader showed an admirable commitment to exerting his abilities to the fullest. The driving force behind his success in tackling many challenges might be his consideration of where and how 'he as a person should be utilized for service', especially when making career changes with 'growth' as the condition. |

l 11.21(Tue) Heejin Choi, [Life & Its Challenges] #7: Enough is as Good as a Feast
The seventh session of Heejin Choi's Life & Its Challenges was themed 'Gratitude'. In line with the Thanksgiving season in the US, we delved deeply into the concept of 'sufficiency', discussing and setting standards for material, psychological, spiritual, and mental aspects. We realized that expressing gratitude for what we're given daily and feeling it in our routine is genuinely important. We shared how we practice gratitude every day, and even though situations and emotions change, we pondered what remains constant. Life is a gift, and nothing comes for granted, so everything seems like a blessing. What are you grateful for at this moment in your life? |

l 11.23(Thu) Hangshim Lee (Associate Professor at the School of Counseling Psychology, Konkuk Univ.), Work and Rest based on the True Self
We invited Hangshim Lee and share with us about 'rest' and 'work' that aligns with one's self. "We all have our unique colors. Exploring and nurturing our unique colors away from the uniform standards set by society or others helps us live more true to ourselves. Through this lecture on the theme of 'rest' and 'work', I hope you'll define what good rest means for you and find your answers to lead a healthier life." We reflected on what 'being oneself' means and the relationship between complete existence and rest. Sharing small actions we can take for 'work and rest that align with oneself' and learning about the importance of protecting oneself from burnout made for an insightful session. |

l 11.23(Thu) Forest Lee, Metaverse #7: Onboading Dot Slash Dash
For the seventh Metaverse session, we onboarded Dot Slash Dash with moderator Forest. Dot Slash Dash is a reward-based short-form content social platform that allows users to upload their memories to collaborative events with various brands and receive rewards based on participation criteria. We've been following Dot Slash Dash with interest since Meister Changwoo Lee's learning session earlier this year, and we had a successful and fun onboarding this time with Cohort 2. From the first memories that METES makers posted on DSD, they were colorful and full of personality, and We're looking forward to their future activities on DSD, which looks beyond 'Mankind Memory Storage' to the 'Mankind Memory Exchange'. We're looking forward to next week's Metaverse session, and hoping for continued participation and interest.
