24th MNM
Hi! It's Editor.S with the 24th MNM. Today is the last newsletter for this block. Unlike the previous Learning Blocks 1 and 2, this third block provided summaries for each session, and I hope it was helpful. Every block newsletter is either pivoted or developed based on feedback, so please leave some for me to improve the next one! There was an error in the last newsletter, and as the editor, I'd like to apologize to everyone. The company name of Lineus's representative, Elias Ra, was incorrect. I'll try to avoid such mistakes in the future. Now let's get started with the last newsletter of Learning Block 03.

Session on Monday, June 26: PSC session with Daniel Shin, D’Light Law Group Wonhee Cho
In the PSC session of the morning, we wrapped up the content for the next block and the PSC sessions we've had so far. Have you heard the phrase 'Practice makes perfect'? I hope METES will be a place where you can continue to practice and test. That's why the next Learning Block 04 will be conducted in a boot camp format, shortened from 10 weeks to 8 weeks. What do we need before a grand prototype? A piece of paper! There are endless opportunities just from explaining your idea with a single sheet of paper, so if you have any ideas, try drawing them out now and always ask for feedback or help on METES! Although there are no sessions during the 3-week break, METES is always open, so you're always welcome.
In the afternoon session, Meister Wonhee Cho joined us to share his '5 experiences learned through start-up founding'. He shared several things we should bear in mind, narrating how he dared to dream anew in his mid-40s. Grow as much as you dream and persist, what's not planned is not managed, immerse yourself, and have routines, bigger things show up when you give up! It was a time when we could learn concretely about how to live life. As a senior who walked the path before us, I'm thankful for such great advice.

Session on Wednesday, June 28: The Soul of a Leader with Heejin Choi, Trevari Sooyoung Yoon
In the SOL session of the morning, we had a wrap-up session reviewing what we learned during the last 10 weeks. We engaged in individual activities, discussing topics such as the dreams we have now, the bold dreams we have, the great values that these dreams are striving for, things to remember related to gratitude for these dreams, obstacles that hinder us from moving towards these dreams, spiritual mentors or communities, and companions. It was a time when we could listen sincerely to each other's stories. In this block, we learned about ourselves and each other through categories like following the heart, finding companions, dreaming boldly, prioritizing missions, practicing gratitude, fighting for the soul, breaking the cycle of violence, enduring till the end, and finding spiritual guidance.
The afternoon session was conducted in a Q&A format. Meister shared that a book is a conversation with the author via text and that we can choose what book to read depending on what thoughts and which people we want to become close with. He also mentioned that starting a business with the mindset of 'there's nothing to lose even if it fails' while living in the jungle even a year younger gave them a great challenge. He informed the junior founders that statistically the chances of success are low, but there are advantages such as being able to fight with strength and having many mentors and people who can help due to many trials and errors. He also shared the mindset that got them through tough times: 'Let's do what we can do today! How much can my life crumble even if it fails!' From his story, we could once again realize that 'mindset is everything'.
