Welcome! It's Editor.S. If you missed a session, check the MNM.
Can't believe we only have 2 weeks left! Unbelievable, right? So, here's a heads-up: Instead of moving on to Learning Block 05, we'll be starting over with Learning Block 01 as part of cohort 02. As this is a fresh start, please spread the word to your friends and acquaintances!
Thank you.

'Public Discourse
PSC by Daniel Shin
In this PSC session, we discussed the concept of 'Public Discourse' from our morning live check-in. We engaged in a super fun activity called 'Chinese Whisper'. There was a line-up where only the actions of the person in front were observed and the last person had to guess. Another activity involved reading and memorizing a long sentence to convey to others. When I asked for feedback, many said, “It got messed up right from the start” and realized the “importance of the mode of transmission.” Often, people pick up a few keywords and mix them with their own knowledge to convey messages. So, the core takeaway? Being concise, structured, and focusing on the essence when speaking. Let's work on honing that skill! The session was fun and full of laughter, but there were key lessons to be learned. Thanks for joining!

What Are You Holding Onto?
by Devin (Hotae Noh)
We invited Devin, who is currently working on a platform called “Kkwulim, 7702", researching the good life and creating public discourse spaces. Building on our morning discussion on public discourse, we had another exciting activity where we shared what we're holding onto in life. The responses varied from maintaining relationships, discerning right from wrong, preserving health, and staying true to oneself amidst hate and criticism. He emphasized “We're all interconnected. We're all part of something bigger, existing and creating simultaneously.” We discussed the spirit of the times and the concept of lack and concluded by saying “The zeitgeist changes based on the values and pressing issues of the time.” The session was very insightful, allowing us to introspect on our thoughts and future directions.

"Being Nature" by Sweet
"Celebrating Who We Are" by Dream
Living Library by Heejin Choi
In the 6th week of Living Library, Heejin introduced us to a book by Timothy Keller, titled ‘Every Good Endeavor: Connecting Your Work to God’s Work.’ The book delves into the reasons behind our desire to work, the challenges of work, and what we all hope to achieve. Work isn’t just about personal gain; it’s about serving others, and it's a divine calling. How should we live each day to offer our best in service to others?
This week, we had two presentations! First was by Sweet, who talked about ‘Being Nature.’ Sweet, who seems to have big dreams and a proactive nature, shared the importance of a balanced life. Stress, in moderation, can be a catalyst for positive change. What does a balanced life mean to you?
Next was Dream, discussing 'Celebrating who we are.' Through the book ‘We Are One’, Dream emphasizes respecting individuality in a society where personal identity is intensifying. It's about acknowledging our differences, celebrating them, and fostering a culture of mutual respect and celebration.

All about Interaction
by Yoo Jaeyeon
Jae-yeon, currently an AI Fellow Partner at YellowDock, shared her insights on 'Interaction.' She discussed interaction from three perspectives: media, academia, and business. In media, she learned the importance of understanding and conveying people's words authentically. In academia, she ventured into 'Big Data Journalism' and explored the possibility of robots writing articles. Now, working with investment firms, she interacts with companies enhancing transparency and addressing societal issues. The essence was clear communication and adapting one’s tone and identity to various situations.
